Welcome to Everyone’s Critic

 

You could say I’m somewhat of a cynic.

Everyone’s Critic is a blog where I will review, critique, and generally talk about anything that I want to review, critique, or talk about.

Whether that’s video games, movies, music, food, books (should I get around to reading one), current events, pop culture, politics, or anything else that I consume in my day-to-day life, I’ll talk about it in some way here.

I don’t claim to be an expert in any of these fields, but that’s the beauty of being a critic – I don’t have to be. I just need an opinion and some basic writing skills. That being said, I will make an effort to be objective when I need to be, and extremely subjective when I can be.

Why am I doing this? That’s a great question, person in front of a computer or phone screen. I love discussion and debate, but I don’t feel like being tied down to any one subject matter or field. I get bored of talking about one thing for too long. While that may open my thoughts and opinions to more scrutiny than those who spend years reviewing and critiquing in one specific field, I am open to that. Whenever I make a review or critique of anything at all, I look forward to driving the discussion forward with anyone who cares to drive it with me.

Over time, I hope you can get to know me through my writing and we can establish a relationship in discussion over topics and products we love and others we hate. More than anything else, let’s enjoy all the wonderful and terrible creations that this world presents to us. There is a lot, and seemingly no shortage of them.
